COMMISSIONING PROCESSPayment
After you make your request, I will provide rough sketches of the piece and send you a quote of the total cost for your commission. You will not be charged for the rough sketches if you decide to cancel your commission. I only accept USD. I accept cash or check by mail, as well as digital transactions through PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. I will not officially start work on the commission until the payment has been made. Please provide your preferred method of contact so I may keep you updated with the progress of your commission.
If you are commissioning for commercial use, payment is more negotiable. I am willing to work for the price you wish to set instead of setting the price myself. You may also have the option to withhold payment until the commission is finished, if desired. You may pay off the cost of the commission in smaller increments over time instead of all at once, if desired. For projects that charge per hour, I will set a timer as I work so I can charge you accurately. Documentation of the time taken on each piece (a screenshot for digital work, or a video recording for traditional work) is available upon request to encourage trust between me and the client.Information
Once the payment has been made, I’ll ask for details about how you want your commission to look. I can work off of descriptions, but providing reference images for your subject(s) is ideal. The more details, the better.
Work
Once I’ve started work, I’ll frequently send work-in-progress images so you can confirm if the piece is going in the direction that you want it to. I’ll send as many progress images as requested and will make sure they have your approval until I move on to the next phase of development. I will always send at least one image for each stage (rough sketch, refined sketch, lineart, color, rendering) before completion.
How long will it take?
I work on commissions using a queue system. Priority is given to orders that have been paid for first or have a deadline set by the buyer. This means it may take time for me to finish other commissions before I can get to yours.
Personal use projects have a quick turnaround and may be finished within under an hour to a month after they’ve been started.
Commercial use projects may be more long-term and take up to a month to a year after they’ve been started.
The amount of time it takes to finish a commission once it’s been started depends both on how busy my schedule is as well as the amount of detail needed to complete the piece at an acceptable level of quality.
Ideally, no commission should take longer than a month (for personal use projects) or a year (for commercial projects, unless it is for a larger project that the client is willing to work on for over a year), excluding time waiting in queue. If the wait for a commission ever exceeds this time, you are entitled to a full refund upon request.
Can I get a physical copy of my commission?
A physical copy of your commission can be shipped to you upon request. There will be extra charge for printing (for digital work). laminating (if applied), framing and matting (if applied), packaging, and shipping.
For digital work, PSD files of the finished commission as well as the video recording of the timelapse are available for you to download free-of-charge upon request.

REFUND POLICYAll buyers are eligible for a full refund at any time as long as the commission is less than a quarter to being finished. If I’m almost done with the commission, I will keep working on it to completion. If it is almost finished and you still want to cancel, you will only get a 50% refund.
Any commissioners I have chosen to cancel will get a full refund regardless of how close I am to being finished. Any commissioners who have waited past the expected turnaround time for their commission to be finished (excluding time waiting in queue) are entitled to a full refund (regardless of how close I am to being finished) upon request.

REVISION POLICYFor digital pieces, revisions can be made at any time. Minor revisions are free of charge. However, major revisions which require the complete rearrangement or removal of work already done will be charged a fee. This fee is $10-20 (depending on the commission) for each hour spent on the work which the client has requested to rework or remove (the hours spent on any work in the piece that the client has not requested to change will not be calculated for the fee total). For traditional pieces (specifically involving permanent ink or color media), revisions can only be made in the sketching phase. Once the piece has moved into the lineart and color phases, changes cannot be made. If you still wish to have a traditional piece revised past that point anyway, I can start the piece over entirely for a fee of $10-50 depending on how long I've already worked. Traditional pieces done in graphite or charcoal follow similar revision policy as digital pieces as those are more reworkable as opposed to ink or color media.Note that revisions apply to the client changing their mind on commissions details or wishing to make last minute changes during the work process. If a revision must be made because I made a mistake on the commission, the client will not be charged a revision fee. The client will also not be charged if the commission has to be started over because the original was lost or damaged, if this happens, the client is entitled to a full or partial (50%) refund (full if they wish to cancel the commission, partial if they wish for the commission to be started over).

BOUNDARIESI will not under any circumstances draw hateful or bigoted material, illegal material, or NSFW (including fetish art). I am okay with drawing suggestive imagery as long as it is not explicitly pornographic. I will not draw art intended for use as NFTs or for AI training.I have the right to decline any request which makes me uncomfortable, even if it doesn’t fall under any of the categories listed above.

PERSONAL VS. COMMERCIAL USE
My rates differ depending on whether the work you’re commissioning is for personal or commercial use.
If you’re commissioning a piece of art for your own enjoyment, your request falls under personal use. These projects are mainly flat-rate and priced with the average person in mind. Personal use commissions have a quick turnaround, and will be finished anytime ranging from under an hour to a month depending on the complexity of the piece. This is ideal if you are commissioning art of yourself, a pet, an original character, etc.If you’re commissioning a piece of art on behalf of your business or for a product that will be sold, your request falls under commercial use. These projects require more negotiation to settle on a price range.
Commercial use commissions have a have a quick or slow turnaround depending on the project. Long-term commitments may take anywhere from a month to a year to finish depending on the complexity of the piece(s), especially if the project includes more than one fully rendered piece.

Projects that require me to buy new materials will factor in the cost of said materials into the final price.
